A four bedroom home in Somerset West, Western Cape is currently under construction. The site is located on the upper slopes of Somerset West, offering spectacular views over False bay. The large steel pergola is designed to frame the view and form the social hub of the new home.
A new home designed by Kritzinger Architects in Higgovale, Cape Town is nearing completion. Landscaping by Franchesca Watson is currently underway. Large granite stone boulders terrace below the 4m cantileverd slabs. The terraces will be planted with succulents and indigenous planting.
Groundwork has started on a steep site in Camps Bay, Cape Town. Kritzinger Architects have designed two unique villas for the site which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Lions Head.
A beach cottage designed by Kritzinger Architects is featured on the cover of the July-August 2020 issue of ELLE Decoration France. The cottage is located in a small historic hamlet on the shores of the Langebaan Lagoon. The existing dwelling was refurbished and re-imagined to offer a "fresh" contemporary take on traditional fisherman cottages in the area.
Kritzinger Architects have completed a concept design for a new beachfront villa in Panama. Set within a lush tropical setting, the design features a main dwelling and three casitas. All existing trees have been retained.

Drawings have been submitted to the City of Cape Town for Local Authority approval for two villas on a vacant site in Camps Bay, Cape Town. Construction is programmed to begin mid 2020.
Our new residential dwelling in Higgovale, Cape Town is nearing completion. We are collaborating with landscape designer Franchesca Watson on the garden design which will feature large granite boulders, Olive trees and an assortment of local grasses.

Building plans have been submitted to the City of Cape Town for the conversion of a single residential dwelling into a three unit apartment building in Fresnaye. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2020.
Work is progressing well on our new residential dwelling in Higgovale, Cape Town. The first floor slab has been cast and formwork is expected be stripped by the end of this month. We are can't wait to see the large 4m cantilevered slab exposed in its full glory!
Kritzinger Architects have completed the refurbishment of a beach cottage in Churchhaven, South Africa. The photograph shows the handmade rattan pendant lights and open kitchen shelving. The cottage will be photographed and published early next year. More to follow.
Kritzinger Architects have been appointed to design a retreat on the banks of the Klein Rivier Lagoon near Stanford in the Western Cape. Inspired by Arthur Ransome's book "Coot Club", the project aims to build on the environmentalist theme of the book where one can re-kindle the spirit-of-adventure in all of us by enjoying the simple things in life, and where children can run free and enjoy a back-to-basics lifestyle of sailing, hiking and the general outdoors. The lifestyle retreat will comprise of five accommodation units and a communal club house set along the waters edge.

Refurbishment work at our Churchhaven beach house is progressing well. The new Larch timber ceiling structure has been installed. Walls have been stripped of plaster and the exposed brickwork painted to complement the new timber ceiling.
