Kritzinger Architects have submitted a concept design for a new 150m2 beachfront cottage in Paternoster, West Coast, South Africa. The design is in keeping with the humble local fisherman vernacular, where elements such as 'bakoond' fireplaces, flat roofs and small facade openings are celebrated.

Plettenberg Bay House
The four-bedroom home is set on a ridge overlooking a golf course in an exclusive Plettenberg Bay residential estate. The house is nestled into the hillside, with all rooms overlooking the valley below. A large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is located on the lower level and roofed over with an indigenous landscaped garden which is overlooked by bedrooms on the upper floor. A wide entrance passage and staircase forms a strong arrival axis offering direct views of the golf course and pool from the entrance lobby. .

Jed Kritzinger has completed this large 1600mm x 600mm artwork of the 12 Apostles mountain range for a new home in Cape Town. The painting compliments the interior design, reflecting the colours and textures of the decor and surrounding landscape.

Kritzinger Architects have achieved Heritage approval and Town Planning (LUM's) approval for a new residential development in Higgovale, Cape Town. The development comprises of six town house units as well as alterations and additions to a historic Manor House. Building Plans are being prepared for submission by the end of this year.

A new dwelling in Camps Bay, Cape Town is currently under construction. The site is located at the foot of Table Mountain, offering spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean as well as Lions Head and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.

Lovely to see some new photographs of the home in Higgovale, Cape Town completed by Kritzinger Architects a few years ago. The new home has now settled into the beautiful landscaped garden designed by Franchesca Watson and implemented by Ross McGill Landscapes.

Building Plans have been submitted to the City of Cape Town for the development of a new Residential Dwelling in Higgovale. The four bedroom home is set within a lush garden comprising of a number of mature trees and large granite boulders. The new home is designed in and around these key features.

Earthworks are underway for a new double dwelling in Camps Bay, Cape Town.
April 2023
Roof-works are complete on new five bedroom home in Constantia. Landscaping and fit-out are currently underway. Completion and handover is programmed for end May 2023.
