Logies Bay Addition

Kritzinger Architects were commissioned to provide a concept proposal for a new contemporary addition to a vacant part of a site in Llandudno, Cape Town. Onerous site constrains led to a building form that sits tightly within the permissible building envelope.  The client brief called for a two bedroom stand alone pavilion building set on an existing platform surrounded by indigenous planting. Timber slatted cladding is designed to let in natural light around the South, East and West facades. The North facade is fully glazed and designed to maximise views over the the Atlantic Ocean.
